2. What data we collect

When you use this diagnostic, we collect the following personal data directly from you: your name, company, job title, email address, your quiz responses, and your resulting communication-style profile. We may also process technical metadata necessary to operate the website, such as server logs.

3. Why we process your data

We process your data for the following purposes:

To provide the diagnostic, generate your result, and display that result to you. This is necessary to deliver the service you requested when completing the quiz.

If you explicitly agree, to analyse responses and improve the diagnostic over time. This processing is based on your consent and is optional.

If you explicitly agree, to contact you about ways to use this diagnostic in a professional context. This processing is based on your consent and is optional.

4. Legal bases for processing

We process your personal data to provide the diagnostic because this processing is necessary to deliver the service you requested. If you tick the optional checkboxes, we process your data for those additional purposes based on your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future by contacting us at lilyana.wilken@exitwise.de.

5. Whether you must provide your data

Providing the data marked as required is necessary in order to complete the diagnostic and receive your result. If you do not provide this data, we are unable to provide the diagnostic.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Quiz submission data will be deleted after 6 months unless a longer period is required for legal reasons. If you gave consent for improvement analysis or follow-up contact, the relevant data may be retained for those purposes until consent is withdrawn or the data is anonymised.

7. Where your data is received and stored

Quiz submissions are received through an email account and stored in a Google Drive operated by Wilken & Schlangen GbR. Access to this data is restricted to the partnership. Email notifications are sent via EmailJS upon form submission. We review this setup regularly and may move data to a dedicated business system in the future.

8. Recipients of your data

Your data is only accessed where necessary for administration of the diagnostic and operation of the website. We use the following service providers who may process data on our behalf:

Netlify (Netlify Inc., US) — website hosting. Netlify may process technical data such as server logs as part of providing this service.

Google (Google LLC, US) — data storage via Google Drive and Google Sheets, and email delivery via Gmail. Google processes data as a service provider on our behalf.

EmailJS (EmailJS Ltd, United Kingdom) — email notification delivery upon form submission. As the United Kingdom is a third country following Brexit, transfers are made on the basis of the UK adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission.

9. International transfers

Some of our service providers process personal data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. This takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions where applicable.

10. Your rights

Under GDPR, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure of your data, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability where applicable. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. 11. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. The latest version will always be available on this page.
